Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that similar issue was decided in C.W.J.C. No. 1603 of
4/4 1992 dated 27.3.1992.
In order to maintain consistency, the present application is also disposed of in similar terms of C.W.J.C. No. 16033 of 2016 disposed of on 08.01.2018.
It goes without saying that the statutory authority is required to take steps for payment of dues within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order with statutory interest, failing which the petitioner would be entitled to payment of additional interest at the rate of 9% from the date of filing of the writ application till the date of actual payment.
