Petitioner has earlier moved this Court twice for grant of bail in Cr. Misc. Nos. 14367 of 2020 and 31627 of 2021, which were rejected vide orders dated 07.09.2020 and 03.08.2020 as contained in Annexure-2 (series) with direction to the Court below to conclude the trial within six months. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite direction of this Court the trial of the case has not been concluded as yet and the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 21.09.2019.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is no fresh ground

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68338 of 2022(4) dt.15-02-2023 2/2 warranting reconsideration of the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present as no fresh ground has been urged on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected. Considering the report of the court below, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial of the case within next three months.
