2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mushhari P. S. Case No. 132 of 2025 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80, 238, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that daughter of informant was married with this petitioner in the year 2024 and it is alleged that when she became pregnant, she was given medication to abort the same, which led to significant bleeding and she was admitted to a private hospital where she underwent a DNC on 09.05.2024. It is further alleged that on 18.05.2024 at 7 pm, the informant's daughter was badly assaulted by accused persons and her mobile was snatched, but anyhow, she saved her

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65470 of 2025(3) dt.27-11-2025 2/3 life and went to her parents' house, whereupon Mushhari P.S. Case No. 138 of 2024 was registered. After that, the accused persons accepted to take good care of the informant's daughter and took her home and on that basis, this petitioner got bail from this Honorable High Court. It is further alleged that on 10.05.2025 at around 9 pm, the accused persons demanded Rs. 5 lakhs, as dowry, from informant and also threatened to kill Nikki (informant's daughter), if the dowry demand is not fulfilled and it is alleged after 10-11 days, on inquiry, the informant received an information that the accused persons have killed her daughter while she was pregnant and disappeared her dead-body and accordingly, present F.I.R. was lodged.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner never demanded any dowry from the deceased and has falsely been implicated in this case due to strained relationship between the couple. Petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific accusation against him that due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, he killed the daughter of informant while she was pregnant and disappeared

6. Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
