The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have committed theft of electricity which caused a revenue loss of Rs. 14,710/- (fourteen thousand seven hundred ten only) to the Government.

It is submitted that petitioner is ready to deposit the alleged amount of Rs. 14, 710/- through bank draft. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstance, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the

No.64679 of 2022(3) dt.09-05-2023 2/2 date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateII, Sheohar in connection with Tariyani P.S. Case No. 02 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure with further condition that at the time of filing of bail bonds the petitioner shall furnish receipt showing deposit of Rs. 14, 710/- failing which the court below shall pass order, in accordance with law.
