2. This is the 2nd attempt of the petitioner in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No. 195 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 386 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 27, 25(1-b), 26 and 25 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are said to have killed the deceased for demand of ransom.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 13.04.2024. Out of seven witnesses, two witnesses have been examined.

5. The learned counsel for the informant submits that the prosecution is ready to examine the witnesses on the dates fixed in the trial.

6. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

7. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
