2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Brahmpur P.S. Case No. 262 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 304(B)/201//34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution, the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The marriage was solemnized five years ago and the allegation is that the deceased was killed for demand of dowry by the petitioner and other co-accused persons.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2023.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstance,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67743 of 2023(3) dt.07-12-2023 2/2 as mentioned above, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

8. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if there is no progress in the trial.
