Petitioner seeks bail in Sessions Trial No. 515 of 2018 arising out of Gaurichak P.S. Case No. 77 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of killing his wife. A report was called for by this Court from the trial court as with regard to the stage of trial vide order dated 29.01.2020.
Report of the trial court has been received in which it has been stated that charges have been framed in this case and out of seven unofficial witnesses, six witnesses have been examined and discharged. Two official witnesses also have been examined and discharged. Only one unofficial witness is left to

Considering the report of the trial court, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. Trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order passed by this Court.
