JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-06-2020 This writ application has been filed seeking following directions:- "i) For issuance of writ of mandamus for order on orders, direction or directions or command/ commands to the respondents to make payment of differences amount of ACP since August, 2008 to January, 2014 and interest on the same amount to the petitioner.

ii) For issuance of writ of mandamus for order or command the respondents to make payment to the petitioner of contractual amount from 01.02.2014 to May, 2014.

The petitioner's wife died due to nonpayment of money." The petitioner retired as an Assistant with effect from 31.01.2014, while working in Kutumba Block, in the District of Aurangabad.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents-State of Bihar, stating, inter alia, that the amount arising out of grant of Assured Career Progression to the tune of Rs.4,03,434/- has been paid to the petitioner vide Bill No. 56/19-20 dated 14.11.2019, viz, after filing of the present writ application.

The relief sought for by the petitioner for payment of compensation amount to the tune of Rs. 25 lacs for nonpayment of ACP does not appear to be genuine. It is, however, directed that if the petitioner has not been paid his revised pension and other retiral dues, consequent upon grant of Assured Career Progression, the same must be
