By filing the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing to the respondent Authorities to consider the representation dated 26.06.2023 submitted by the petitioner and on due consideration, to make payment of fixed honorarium for the period the petitioner has worked as Guest Lecturer in Chemistry Subject in Ramashray Baleshwar College, Dalsinghsarai, Samastipur and also to renew the engagement of the petitioner as Guest Lecturer with all consequential
Patna High Court CWJC No.14361 of 2023(2) dt.07-01-2025 2/3 benefits as given to other Guest Lecturers of the College.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the contents of the writ application, it appears that the petitioner has filed a detailed representation before the Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (respondent no.2) and the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (respondent no.3) on 26.06.2023 for redressal of his grievances, but till date, nothing has been done in this regard.

In such view of the matter, the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (respondent no.3) and the Principal, Ramashray Baleshwar College, Dalsinghsarai, Samastipur (respondent no. 5), if any representation/ application has been filed before them, are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or through his counsel.
5. It is made clear that respondent nos. 3&5 shall be personally responsible for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.
