The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Digha P.S. Case No.320 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 500, 354(a), 354(b), 376, 511, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner and other co-accused persons are said to have cheated the informant and her family members on the pretext of marriage of her son. It is also alleged that the son of the petitioner tried to establish physical relation with the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69316 of 2022(3) dt.28-02-2023 2/2 present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and co-accused, Anand Kumar has already been enlarged on anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 17.02.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No.65732 of 2022. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Taking into consideration the fact that co-accused, Anand Kumar has already been enlarged on anticipatory bail by this Court, let petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-XIII, Patna in connection with Digha P.S. Case No.320 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) S.
