The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case No. 69 of 2014, arising out of S.Tr. No. 278 of 2014, registered under Sections 302, 201of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that the petitioner after killing three years son of her sister-in-law threw the body in pond and later on the dead body was recovered.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no eye-witness in this case and he has been falsely been implicated and he is in custody since 10.04.2014. Whereas, learned counsel for the State submits that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11923 of 2018(5) dt.20-06-2018 2/2 there is specific allegation against the petitioner only and already the trial is at the fag end as eight prosecution witnesses out of twelve have already been examined.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to conduct the trial on day to day basis and preferably conclude the same within six months.
