2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 23 of 2024 dated 29.01.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Section 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner are that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased, in fact, the petitioner's wife was suffering from a mental illness due to which she committed suicide by hanging in her room and in the FIR, there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. It is further submitted that after registration of the FIR, the father of the deceased, who had lodged the FIR, realized his mistake and filed an application/affidavit before the

No.65071 of 2025(3) dt.10-12-2025 2/2 Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Gopalganj, in the petitioner's defence, stating that, due to the death of his daughter got disturbed and signed the FIR without reading the contents of it, and further disclosed the innocence of the petitioner in the said application/affidavit. It is lastly submitted that the investigation against the petitioner has been completed and he has been languishing in jail since 08.05.2025.

4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, and considering the above submissions, particularly the petitioner's period of custody and the completion of investigation against him, this Court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 23 of 2024.
