Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Ajimabad P.S. Case No.07 of 2017 registered under Sections 302, 201 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that the petitioner and the deceased went along to Ara as per the information disclosed by the deceased to the informant and next day his dead body was found, he was killed by some unknown persons and it is suspected that this petitioner along with others had killed the informant's brother.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that mere suspicion is raised against the petitioner on the basis of the call details as he had talked with the deceased several times and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23914 of 2018(5) dt.18-07-2018 2/2 forcibly the confessional statement of the petitioner was recorded by the police, however, there is no other evidence against the petitioner and petitioner has only one case of theft against him.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Ranjan Kumar @ Kanhai Kumar @ Kanhaiya Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Ajimabad P.S.
