2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No. 50 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(b), 23(b) of the NDPS Act and Section 317(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, a total of 16 Kg of Ganja was recovered and out of 16 Kg, 10.700 Kg of Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72230 of 2025(3) dt.19-12-2025 2/2 has an antecedent of similar nature.

6. Considering the criminal antecedent and the huge recovery of ganja from the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected for the present.
