(ii) For quashing the Memo No.-533 dated 15.11.2021 issued under the signature of Res. No-4 by which the petitioner was placed under suspension w.e.f. 04.11.2021 and headquarter of the petitioner was fixed in the office of Civil Defence Directorate Office, Katihar and further direction to the respondents to pay the subsistence allowance to the petitioner since August 2022 to uptill now."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
