The petitioner has been in custody since 22.12.2017 in connection with Mahkar P.S. Case No. 77/2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(b)/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is not a case under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code as the marriage took place in the year 2008. Moreover, there is no allegation that the petitioner had participated in the occurrence and the allegation is general and omnibus in nature. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant is present and resists the application for bail.
