The present writ petition has been field by one of the workmen with a simple prayer to direct the respondents authorities to dispose of Minimum Wages Case No. 01 of 2012 which is pending since long in the court of Sub Divisional Officer, Teghra, Begusarai. It has been pleaded that the petitioner and 95 Bidi Maker Labourers has filed the case for payment of minimum wages. Despite the fact that the case was filed in the year 2012, no decision has been taken till date.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17079 of 2013 (2) dt.22-07-2015 2/2 The court is of the opinion that without going into the merit of the case, the writ petition can be disposed of with an expectation that the learned Sub Divisional Officer, Teghra, Begusarai where the Minimum Wages Case No. 01 of 2012 is said to be pending may take appropriate steps, so that, the case may come to its logical end without unnecessary delay, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
