The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Bajpatti Police Station Case No. 08 of 2014 registered for the offences under sections 341, 323, 379, 353 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per written report, this petitioner intercepted the informant and snatched Rs.228/- and a gold chain of seven grams from his possession. It has been submitted that the petitioner had applied for mutation of his land for which the informant had demanded bribe for issuance of rent receipt. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for bail is allowed and the above named petitioner in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within six weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Bajpatti Police Station Case No. 08 of 2014, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
