2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 140(3) and 3(5) of the BNS registered in connection with Shikarganj P.S.Case No. 80/2025.
3. As per allegation, the accused persons lured and abducted the minor daughter of the informant for ulterior motives. It is alleged that the petitioner is also instrumental in this misadventure.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. Four persons have specifically been named in the FIR, but the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64329 of 2025(5) dt.21-01-2026 2/2 petitioner is not named therein. In her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS, the victim did not level allegation against the petitioner, except that the petitioner received her from the railway station. The petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2025 and is a person of clean antecedents.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 6th District and Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Exclusive Special Judge, POCSO Act, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Shikarganj P.S.Case No. 80/2025, subject to the conditions that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
