2. The petitioner is in custody since 16.04.2023 in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 282 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 66(C)/66(D) of the I.T. Act. Later on, chargesheet has been submitted under Sections 384/386/420 of the IPC and Sections 66(D) of the IT Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has been accused of demanding extortion.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had approached the informant who is the Administrator General of Bihar, Patna for grant of succession

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68560 of 2023(2) dt.19-10-2023 2/2 certificate with regard to the estate of Jawaid Ansari and there was some dispute between the parties, therefore, the petitioner demanded the amount given to the said Administrator back and which was returned to the petitioner in his bank account and, thereafter, this false case has been filed.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. He further submits that charge sheet has already been submitted.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 282 of 2023.
