2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Daudnagar P.S. Case No. 396 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2022.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 2161 liters of foreign made liquor from a truck of which the petitioner was the driver.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is merely the driver of the truck and he has no knowledge about the foreign liquor. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 6.7.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court of Special Judge, Excise Court no. 02, Aurangabad/concerned Court below in connection with Daudnagar P.S. Case No. 396 of 2024.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Pipra Kothi Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U
