Patna High Court LPA No.1308 of 2013 (10) dt.15-02-2018 2/3 PRASAD ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 15-02-2018 After making submission for some time, based on certain recommendations made by the higher authorities with regard to the issue in question as is filed in the supplementary affidavit of the appellants, learned Senior Counsel for the appellants sought permission to withdraw the appeals and take up the issue with the Director General of Police, Bihar by way of an appeal and to canvass their grievances for reconsideration of the entire matter by the said authority.

We grant permission to the appellants to withdraw the appeals and seek indulgence of the Director General of Police, Bihar by submitting an appeal along with the relevant documents and it would be for the Director General of Police, Bihar to reconsider the issue in question in accordance with law and decide the appeal that may be filed in pursuance to the liberty granted.

Needless to emphasize that the authority will be free to reconsider the issue without being influenced by the order passed by the learned Writ Court or any observation made in these appeals. The appellate authority shall reconsider the matter and pass appropriate order within a period of ninety days from

Accordingly, the appeals stand withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
