The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Barsoi P.S. (Kachna O.P.) Case No. 333 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 354, 504, 506 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the observation made by the learned Sessions Judge that the injury caused with knife by the petitioner to the son of the informant on his neck resulted into grievous injury, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
