The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Chapra (Mahila) P. S. Case No.03 of 2019 registered under Sections 498-A, 506 Part-II of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Considering the nature of the offence, accusation made against the petitioner, the submissions advanced at the Bar and the fact that for the alleged occurrence of offence dated 01.01.2019, a complaint was lodged after two days on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77688 of 2019(3) dt.26-06-2020 2/2 03.01.2019, which was referred to the police, pursuant to which the FIR was instituted on 11.02.2019, the petitioner, who is reported to be a man of clean antecedent, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chapra, District-Saran in Chapra (Mahila) P. S. Case No.03 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438
(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
