JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 24-09-2019 Petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 311C of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Allegation is of demand of Rs.2.5 lac and one motorcycle from the complainant and for that she was subjected to assault and harassment and petitioners happen to be father-inlaw and mother-in-law of the complainant. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that there is general and omnibus allegation against them and there is no specific allegation attributed against them and there

In view of above facts and circumstances, let petitioners, in the event of arrest or surrender, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., Araria, in connection with Complaint Case No. 311C of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. and further condition is that one of the bailors of the petitioners shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable property within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
