2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.R. No. 3949 of 2022 (Balia Belon P.S. Case No. 126 of 2021) registered for the offence under Sections 363, 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution, a minor girl was kidnapped. In her own statement made under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., the victim girl has deposed that the petitioner and his father had continuously raped her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 19.02.2022.

5. In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68016 of 2023(2) dt.18-10-2023 2/2 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

7. The trial is directed to be expedited.
