The petitioner seeks bail in Gaurichak P. S. Case No. 48 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 279, 337 , 338 and 304 of the Indian Penal Code. In the written report, it is alleged that due to rash and negligent driving of the vehicle by the petitioner the accident took place in which four persons died on the spot and five persons sustained injury who subsequently died during course of treatment.

Considering the serious nature of negligent act committed by this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. He is given liberty to renew prayer for bail after six months if no substantial progress is made in the case.
