1. Heard the parties through Video Conferencing.

2. The petitioners states that they have worked from 2017 to 2021 and have been removed from the post of Peon without any notice or without giving any opportunity.

3. I have considered the submission, the petitioners were not appointed on regular basis, but comes within the ambit of workmen.

4. Granting in liberty to take up the matter regarding their termination/ retrenchment before the appropriate Labour Court, conducting the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of statutory remedy available.

5. If such dispute is raised, the same shall be taken up directly by the Labour Court and decided on merits expeditiously.
