The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of bail in a case registered under sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

The earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 23.12.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. no.27678 of 2021.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is stated to have fired from his licensed rifle causing firearm injury on the head of the uncle of the informant resulting in his death. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. He is in custody since 29.12.2020. He undertakes to cooperate in the

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegations against the petitioner and the examination of witness having commenced in the learned trial court, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected. Learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within six months.
