Standing Counsel (11) CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-09-2024 Though the present writ petition has been filed for quashing the notice dated 21.08.2024, issued by the Circle Officer, Shahkund, District-Bhagalpur, under Section 3 of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act', 1956), however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to file objections before the Circle Officer, Shahkund, within a period of two weeks from today. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
At this juncture, the Ld. Counsel for the petitioners further seeks a direction upon the Circle Officer, Shahkund, District-Bhagalpur to consider the objections to be filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law and pass the final order under Section 6(1) of the Act, 1956, forthwith. It is directed accordingly.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
