1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) For issuance of appropriate writ/order/ direction commanding the respondent authorities, Particularly the Additional Collector, Gopalganj, (Respondent No.

06) and the Deputy Collector, Land Reforms Hathua to decide Jamabandi Cancellation Abhilekh No. 01/22-23 forwarded by the Anchal Adhikari Bhore, Gopalganj (Respondent no. 09) vide letter no. 1005/ dated 22-062022 and letter no. 1004 dated 22-06-2022 enabling to removed the encroachment from the Public lands bearing plot no. 147, under Khata No. 68 Mauza

Patna High Court CWJC No.42 of 2024(2) dt.24-06-2024 2/2 Belwa Thakurai of Anchal Bhorey, District- Gopalganj in encroachment Case No.01/2021-22 maintained by Anchal Adhikari, Bhorey, District- Gopalganj."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the Additional Collector, Land Reforms, Gopalganj, to decide the pending Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.1 of 2022-23.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid case is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be decided, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Additional Collector, Land Reforms, Gopalganj, to dispose off the aforesaid Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.1 of 2022-23, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
