JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-10-2024 Though the present writ petition has been filed for directing the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to take appropriate decision with regard to release of rifle of the petitioner, which was deposited at Nokha Police Station, at the time of parliamentary election, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the District Magistrate, Rohtas and submits that the same be directed to be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame.
2. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of
Patna High Court CWJC No.15518 of 2024(2) dt.08-10-2024 2/2 the case, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition, before the District Magistrate, Rohtas for redressal of his aforesaid grievance, within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be disposed off by the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, within a period of six weeks, thereafter, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
