2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sasram Nagar P.S. Case No. 659 of 2023 registered for the offences under Section 304B/34 of the I.P.C.

3. The petitioner and other accused persons are alleged to have tortured and killed the deceased for demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and is innocent.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the fact and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72219 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
