The petitioner seeks bail in Dagarua P. S. Case No. 203/2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 8/20(e)(ii) (c)/25, 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. It is alleged in the written report that total 726.700 Kg of contraband ganja was recovered from truck. The petitioner was driver of the aforesaid truck. He could not produce any valid paper in support of the aforesaid loaded contraband ganja on the truck. He was apprehended on the spot. Thereafter, seizure was made after complying the provision of Section 50 of N. D. P. S. Act.
Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.70266 of 2018(4) dt.19-02-2019 2/2 stands rejected.
