JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-07-2019 This application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the ;petitioner for directing the respondents, especially the respondent no.4, the Officer-in-charge, Chapra Bhagwan Bazar Harijan Police Station to register the first information report on the basis of a complaint bearing Complaint Case No. C-3394 of 2016 filed against the respondent nos. 5 to 9.

Case No. 20 of 2017 has been registered against the accused persons inter alia under Sections 3(1)(x) and 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Since the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed, the application has become infructuous. It is disposed of, accordingly.
