JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 12-12-2018 Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Sonepur P.S.Case No. 457 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is of snatching of Rs.60,000/- cash and jewellery worth Rs.1 lakh from the informant by some miscreants and petitioner is not named in the FIR and it appears that during investigation name of petitioner has transpired. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement there is nothing against him and he was not put on TIP and there was no recovery from his possession and though he is accused in four other cases but he is on bail in those cases and he is in custody since 4.1.2018 in connection with this case.

No.69204 of 2018(3) dt.12-12-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra, in connection with Sonepur P.S.Case No. 457 of 2017, subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
