The petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2019 in connection with Nasirganj P.S. Case No. 89 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 30 (a) and 37 (1) (2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been remanded in connection with the present case on 10.06.2019 and since then he is rotting in jail. It is further submitted that the petitioner's name has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by the co-accused persons.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let
