2. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case no. 42 of 2024 instituted for the offence under Sections 323, 341, 506, 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per allegation in the FIR, informant was married to the petitioner on 20.05.2023 and as per capacity, her father had given seven lac cash, one motorcycle and gold ornaments. After few days, at her matrimonial home, she was being tortured by the hands of husband and his relatives due to non-fulfillment

It is further alleged that, father of the informant tried to pacify the dispute but on 4.5.2024, informant was again assaulted brutally by all the FIR named accused persons. She informed her father, who came and admitted her to PMCH.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is widow mother-in-law of the informant. General and omnibus allegations have been levelled against her. There is no prior information about misbehaving with her by the petitioner and there is also delay of about three days in lodging the FIR, without any plausible reason. In fact, elder sister of the informant is a constable in Bihar Police and she has falsely implicated all the family members of the petitioner on the basis of concocted story. General and omnibus allegations have been levelled against the petitioner. She has got no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer of Bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner

No.70275 of 2024(4) dt.22-03-2025 3/3 is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender in connection with Mahila P.S. Case no. 42 of 2024, she will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
