The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 101 of 2012, registered under Sections 406, 409 and 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that the petitioner being the Branch Manager of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Jamalpur Branch, Darbhanga, manipulating the ledger for the yaers 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2007-09 misappropriated Rs.28,55,351/-. Submission is that petitioner has been dismissed from the service of the Bank. The petitioner is in custody since

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63500 of 2019(6) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 01.06.2019 and the police on investigation has already submitted the charge sheet against the petitioner. Submission is that there is no chance of tampering the evidence. More so, the provident fund and gratuity, which would be more than Rs.28,00,000/- is already with the Bank authority.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Jamalpur P.S.
