The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non-consideration of his case for grant of Career Advancement Scheme.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is stagnating on the post since the date of his

Patna High Court CWJC No.19010 of 2019(2) dt.16-09-2019 2/2 appointment.

Referring to the case of petitioner learned counsel submits that Division Bench of this Court in relation to Bhagalpur Engineering College, Bhagalpur directed the respondents to consider the case of promotion under the Career Advancement Scheme. Without going to the merit of this case, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to examine the claim of the petitioner for grant of promotion under CAS or any other Scheme of promotion. In view of the laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Raghunath Prasad Singh Vs. Secretary Home (Police) Department, Government of Bihar & Ors. Reported in 1988 (Supp.) SCC 519 at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
