JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 22-11-2016 Heard Mr. Ravi Ranjan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ajay Kumar Sinha for the respondent -Central Bank of India ( for short 'the Bank').

The Court after hearing both sides passed an order on 24.09.2013 whereby the respondent Bank was to provide the details of interest payable by the petitioner for the delayed payment of the settlement amount at the PLR rate. Mr. Sinha, on instruction, states that if the petitioner approaches the Branch Manager the details of the interest for the delayed payment of the settlement amount shall be provided to the petitioner enabling him to pay off those dues.

Considering the diverse statements made in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19856 of 2012 (11) dt.22-11-2016 2/2 application and upon hearing the counsel for the parties, the writ application is disposed of permitting the petitioner to appear before the Branch Manager of the respondent- Bank who shall thereafter furnish the details of the interest payable to the Bank for delayed payment of the settlement amount. If the petitioner deposits/tenders the amount so calculated within three weeks thereof the respondent Bank will accept the same and close the account.
