The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Sono PS case no. 115 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation of the prosecution is that the accused persons including the petitioners have killed the deceased victim lady on account of non-fulfilment of the demand for dowry.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no evidence on record to suggest the complicity of the petitioners and the petitioners used to stay outside and are poor persons who drive rickshaw.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.69812 of 2018(4) dt.10-01-2019 2/2 I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and gone through the materials on record as also the case diary. Since the petitioner no. 1 is the husband of the victim lady and there is clear allegation of killing his wife and the petitioner no. 2 is his accomplice, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners herein, hence the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners is rejected at this stage.
