The present writ application has been filed for quashing the order dated 10.09.2016 passed by Respondent No. 4, the District Magistrate, Jehanabad in Arms Case No. 14/2016, as contained in Annexure 13, whereby the application submitted by the petitioner for renewal of licence and release of rifle and gun has been rejected.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ application, the petitioner has preferred statutory appeal vide Arms Appeal No. 219 of 2018 before the Respondent No. 3, Divisional Commissioner, Magadh Division,
Patna High Court CWJC No.4874 of 2017(2) dt.06-11-2018 2/2 Gaya against the impugned order. Hence, learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw this writ application. This writ application is permitted to be withdrawn. However, it is expected from the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
