2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 558/ 2025 dated 15.05.2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 80 and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and is a62 years old person, the investigation against him has been completed, in the entire FIR there is no specific allegation against him and the allegation as to demanding dowry from the deceased and subjecting her to cruelty on account of non fulfillment of the alleged dowry demand is general and omnibus, in fact, the deceased committed suicide and on her

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64489 of 2025(3) dt.10-12-2025 2/2 body, no external injury was found, as per the inquest report, her dead body was found hanging by Dupatta and as per the post mortem report, cause of death was asphyxia due to hanging which also confirms that the victim committed suicide.

4. The learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of this case as well as considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel and mainly the petitioner's custody period and completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 558/ 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
