Petitioner seeks bail in Sherghati P.S. Case No. 331 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 504, 326, 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have fired upon the informant with an intention to kill him which hit the left chest of the informant.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also in view of the fact that there is direct allegation of firing against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

However, the petitioner is granted liberty to
