Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 04 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against petitioner and other co-accused is of killing the sister of the informant by setting her ablaze due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Considering the direct allegation against petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage. However, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after one year of custody.
