JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-02-2015 This application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for quashing the first information report of Saraiya P.S. Case No.31 of 2010 registered for the offence punishable under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

At the outset, it has been brought to my notice that during the pendency of the application, the police have already submitted charge-sheet in the case and the Magistrate concerned has already taken cognizance of the offence.
