2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26(1), 35 of the Arms Act.
3. Prosecution case is that on secret information that ransom is being demanded from the businessman of Mirganj and some unknown criminals are roaming around the Mirganj Market to create horror and commit crime, a raid was conducted and one person was apprehended. On search, one loaded pistol with two live cartridges and two mobiles were recovered. Apprehended persons disclosed the name of the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the apprehended person disclosed the

He submits that nothing incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He further submits that petitioner has criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No. 102 of 2023.
