The petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No. 369/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
21 litres of Nepali liquor is alleged to have been recovered from the house of this petitioner.
It is mentioned in para 3 of bail petition that two other cases of Excise Act are also pending against this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 08.08.2018.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.75820 of 2018(3) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Excise Case No. 369/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner. The petitioner will file affidavit at the time of release that he would not indulge himself in such type of activity in future. In the event, he is found indulged in such type of activity, his bail bond will liable to be cancelled.
