JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 28-01-2020 This writ application has been preferred for a direction to the appropriate authority to conclude the investigation of Ghoshwari P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 120(B), 115, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the investigation of the case was completed against one of the accused namely Krishan Ram but investigation was pending against the other accused persons. It is his submission that for

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1626 of 2019(3) dt.28-01-2020 2/2 last three years investigation is pending against the remaining accused. In this connection he has relied upon the police final report as contained in Annexure '2' to the writ application. No one appears on behalf of the State.

This Court has perused the police final report as contained in Annexure '2' to the present application and finds substance in the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner. This Court, therefore, directs the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna (Respondent No. 2) to look into the grievance of the petitioner, examine the same and issue necessary directions as may be required to the Investigating Officer who should conclude the investigation of the case as early as possible and submit a report in this respect to the jurisdictional court. Respondent No. 2 shall keep in view the period already spent in course of investigation and will take remedial measures without further delay.
